Probably Maasland 12th century

A 12th century bronze Corpus Christi, presumably Maas Region

Cast and engraved bronze with old patina. Depicting Christ crucified with four nails with His arms stretched out horizontally, His head turned to one side and in a slightly swaying pose.
Minimal wear. Mounted on a velvet covered plaque. Height 10 cm, width of arms 9 cm.
