Solid, bearing a dark patina with numerous ridges to all sides at constant intervals. The wooden case's cover inscribed nyoi, the lid's reverse side: Sōshian Eiichi zō (made by Sōichi) and sealed: Kanamori = Eiichi Kanamori (1909-2001).
