A Sino-Tibetan gilt copper alloy plaque depicting Dhartarastra, the Guardian King of the East. 18th century or earlier

Seated in rajalil asana on a lotus terrace, playing a lute. He is dressed in an elaborate chain armour, a cloak, boots, and a pointy helmet with a neck protection and a tassel. The details of his face are highlighted in red, white, and black. High relief and partly sculptural. Mounted on a wooden panel.
