Oil on rough burlap (professionally re-lined) 72 x 59.5 cm, framed. Signed and dated C Rohlfs 93 in black at lower right. - With old notations in pencil and blue crayon about ownership on the upper member of the chassis; to the right of this a pink coloured printed label from the Kunstsammlungen zu Weimar, within which the handwritten title "Weiden" and the inventory number "L 2116 Rohlfs." On the back of the frame at lower right with a paper label from the Städtische Kunstsammlungen, Kassel, inscribed "Rohlfs, C. Weiden" and with the inventory number "L 1146." - Professionally cleaned.
