Charcoal drawing, with rubbed composition, over red chalk preliminary drawing and opaque white correction on drawing paper 64.7 x 43 cm, because of some defects laid down on light carboard, framed under glass. Signed and dated H. Nauen 0.19 with pencil in lower right. - Somewhat browned from the fixative, with a tear 5.5 cm long in upper right and with a horizontal tear going through the composition and the entire sheet in the lower fifth of the sheet.
