A Meissen porcelain ecuelle with Hoeroldt Chinoiseries

Round dish with two palmette handles and corresponding lid with spherical finial. Decorated with finely painted Chinoiserie scenes in five copper lustre cartouche motifs and with indianische blumen below the handles. A vertical crack in the vessel below the handle, finial reattached. H with silver gilt mountings 11.5, W 22.4 cm.
