Both hand of Christ lost. Losses to the gown of the Virgin and at the back of the head of Christ. With wormholes. Height 52 cm.

Die auf einer Bank mit profilierten Wangen sitzende Muttergottes hält leicht zur Seite gewandt den Leichnam ihres toten Sohnes auf ihrem Schoß. Maria trägt einen gefälteltes Kleid und einen weit fallenden sowie über den Kopf gezogenen Mantel. Die gerade in den Physiognomien sehr fein gearbeitete Skulptur zeichnet sich besonders durch die voluminöse Gestaltung der Mantelfalten aus, wodurch die Nacktheit des Körpers Christi unterstrichen wird.
