Color lithograph with brownish plate tone (motive 56.6 x 42.5 cm) on ivory colored, lightly textured wove paper with watermark "Arches" and round embossed stamp "ATELIER R. DELAUNAY PARIS" 59.3 x 45.2 cm (67.5 x 51.6 cm), framed under glass. Dated and titled St. Séverin 1909 within the stone lower left and inscribed épreuve d'artiste at the margin, alongside signed and dedicated R. Delaunay/ à l'oncle Arnold Sack/ en toute sympathie. Probably trial proof (with print marks) from the extremely uncommon color state. - Very rare. - Minimally browned within former mat opening.
