Oil on cardboard 32.8 x 24.9 cm, framed. Signed Slevogt in black upper right as well as dated Weihnachten 1903 lower left. - Following kind confirmation by Sigrun Paas, Max Slevogt-Galerie, Schloß Villa Ludwigshöhe, Edenkoben, the painting was doubtlessly signed later, possibly when Slevogt ceded it to his friend and collector of his works Carl Steinbart. - The lower edge of cardboard irregularly trimmed; slightly compressed in places with minimal loss of colour lower left.
