Oil on linen-textured paper, on firm cardboard 24.7 x 16.8 cm, mounted on structured cardboard backing 38.5 x 29.3 cm, framed. Monogrammed A.J in blue upper right. - The reverse frame cardboard inscribed, titled and dated by Andreas Jawlensky, the artist's son, "A.Jawlensky Grosse Blumen Nr. 1 1932 'Zwei Rosen' (unterstrichen) Öl a. Karton, 24,7 x 16,8 o.r.m." in ink. Also on frame cardboard with a label of frame-shop Zingg, Ascona. - Rubbed along the margins, with a minor dent at upper right margin and 2 slight short traces of folding at right margin.
