Reverse painting on glass 33.8 x 23 cm (frame opening), framed. With signature and date WDEXEL 22 scratched into paint lower right. On reverse inscribed on cardboard protection VORSICHT GLASBILD with black brush, signed, dated and titled WALTER DEXEL 22/ SEGELSCHIFF/ 1922 XVII as well as inscribed "Unverkäuflich BD" with blue chalk by Bernhard Dexel, the artist's son, and with the encircled number "63". - With partial material-related lightening primarily in the pink and ochre areas. - The cardboard protection on reverse with printed exhibition label of the Ulm Museum from 1979 and the collection label of Bernhard Dexel, Hamburg.
