Conditions of Sale

1. Running time
The charity auction TOGETHER will run as an online auction from 1.10.2021, 10 a.m. to 17.10.2021, 4 p.m. The auction of the lots will end with an interval of 30 seconds. If a higher bid for a lot is placed within the last five minutes oft he bidding period of this lot, the bidding period of this lot will be extended by five minutes.

2 Registration and Admission
In order to participate in the auction, registration is required, stating full name and current residential address. After registration, bids can be placed. Bidders who have already registered for a Lempertz online auction in the past do not need to register again, and can log in immediately to bid.

3. Acceptance of a purchase offer
At the end of the auction period, the highest bid will be accepted. This concludes a purchase contract between the highest bidder and Lempertz for the work of art in question, while the bids of other bidders for this lot expire.

4. Maximum Price
When submitting a bid, the bidder has the option of stating the maximum price he/she is prepared to pay for the object in question. If two bidders indicate an identical maximum price, the earlier bid will be considered.
The maximum price will not be shown to other bidders; only the current highest bid will be visible.

5. Purchase Price
The hammer price corresponds to the total price; no buyer's premium will be charged. The statutory VAT of 19% will be charged on the purchase price, unless otherwise stated in the auction catalogue. The purchased works of art may be shipped at a charge if they are not collected in person.
