"So it is with justified excitement that La Tour’s atmospheric oil painting of a young girl blowing into the embers of a small coal brazier (1646-48) is due to go under the hammer at the Cologne auction house Lempertz on 8 December with a price tag of €3m-€4m. Not only could it achieve a record price for the artist, it could also become the most expensive Old Master painting ever to be auctioned in Germany." - The Artnewspaper
