The Prussian Sale in the times of corona
Social life has been considerably restricted due to the worldwide pandemic and Lempertz has also postponed the Prussian Sale, originally planned for the end of April, to 16 May.
Through the following measures, Lempertz nevertheless wishes to guarantee its customers the best possible service:
Online auction catalogues
All our auction catalogues are available online. Every object has its own dedicated page with extensive descriptions, illustrations, and close-up views.
Virtual tours through the previews
For the first time, a virtual tour of the preview has been created offering the customers at home a better overall impression of the works offered for sale. 75 highlights from a total of around 360 objects are provided with interactive sheets and can be clicked on individually.
Individual preview appointments
The Lempertz team in Berlin is happy to arrange individual previews for its collectors, observing the social distancing rules for the safety of its customers and Lempertz employees.
Online participation in the auctions
Quick and uncomplicated registration for online bidding in response to the increased increase in online auction participation.
