A Meissen porcelain "four seasons" clock case

Bronze plated metal dial with pierced metal hands, numbered 14-day pendulum movement with verge escapement and countwheel, half-hourly strike on a bell. Rocaille form table clock decorated with putti as allegories of the seasons. Blue crossed swords mark, model no. 2172+, impressed 236. Minor chips and losses. H 47 cm.
