Mädchen mit Schirm. Sitzender Junge mit Boot
Circa 1903

2 Bronze sculptures Height 20.2 cm and 19 cm Signed ' B. Hoetger.' on the bottom of the base on the back resp. 'B. Hoetger' on the left-hand side. According to kind information from Wolfgang Werner, Bremen, there are very few known casts of "Mädchen mit Schirm", very rare. The bronze of the boy cannot be documented to date but may be a conceivable attribution. - With reddish brown patina resp. dark brown, partially lightenend patina.- The girl with hammered cast number "3437" underneath on edge of cast.
