A rare Meissen beaker and saucer with chinoiserie decor.

With finely painted Chinese figures in quatrefoil gilt cartouches filled with purple lustre. The underside of the saucer with concentric iron red rings. Gold 5. mark, dreher's mark of Johann Daniel Rehschuh. Minor wear to the decor. H 7.6, diameter of saucer 12.8 cm.
Ca. 1725, decor in the manner of Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt.
