A porcelain dish with a merchant navy scene

Border and centre decorated with a finely painted harbour scene in black schwarzlot with incised outlines and picked out in gilt. Unmarked, mass mark / to the basal ring. A rim chip to the underside to the 5 o'clock position, minor wear to the gilding. D 12.5 cm.
Presumably Meissen, ca. 1720; decor attributed to Ignaz Preissler, 1720s/1730s.
