Watercolour and black chalk resp. on verso black chalk on fine, smooth ivory-coloured drawing paper 46.5/ 47 x 59.8 cm. The "Bathing Woman" with purple estate stamp "NACHLASS E.L. KIRCHNER" (Lugt 1570b) lower left, therein inscribed "A Dre/Aa 23" handwritten in black ink; titled "Landsch. m. See im Hintergrund" in pencil next to stamp. - The sheet slightly irregularly cut. Former defects of age professionally restored, with a weak diagonal fold and short tear in right margin. The colours fine and fresh.
