A Meissen porcelain tea bowl and saucer with Chinese figures making tea.

The cup and saucer each decorated with delicate iron red leaves and containing quaint chinoiserie scenes. The underside of the saucer with concentric iron red rings. Both pieces with gilt 11 mark and dreher's mark "x" for Johann Daniel Rehschuh. The gilt lace edging to the inside of the cup worn. Diameter of saucer 12.9 cm.
Ca. 1723 - 25, the decor attributed to the early Hoeroldt workshop.
