A silver gilt and diamond religious pendant with an ivory sculpture of St. Nepomuk

Designed as a glass capsule containing a baroque carved ivory depiction of St. Nepomuk. Verso finely chased with a Christogram and maltese cross. The foliate frame with applied gold stars and eight facetted diamonds. In the original shagreen case. Head of the saint reattached, hanging loop ammended. 5 x 3.2 cm. Weight 20.6 g.
Possibly Hungary, ca. 1700.
