A Meissen porcelain tea caddy with rare heraldic decor

Of compressed baluster form with original lid. Decorated with a rare coat-of-arms with palm fronds surrounding two lions rampant holding aloft a wreath on an enamel blue field. The reverse decorated with a large and finely painted Chinoiserie scene. A border to the shoulders with four Chinoiserie scenes in puce camaieu. Enamelled crossed swords mark. A firing crack to the basal ring. H 11 cm.
Ca. 1726, the Chinoiseries attributed to Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt.

The coat-of-arms could be that of the Italian de Andreo family.
