Gelatin silver print, printed early 1950s. 22,9 x 29,3 cm. Print bordered along the edges in black Indian ink, photographer's blind stamp at lower left and another photographer's stamp on the verso. Mounted to original cardboard 43,6 x 34,3 cm, thereon annotated in pencil by an assistant of the studio at lower left edge. Cardboard with label affixed to the reverse, thereon typewritten titled August Sander: "Das Rheintal von Mainz bis Köln", and with overlay made of cellophane affixed to left rear side.
