A Rajasthani copper alloy shrine of Jina Parshvanatha. 12th century

Seated in meditation on a throne supported by two lions, underneath a seven headed naga, surmounted by a vase, surrounded by seated and standing jinas, on the front of the base the Nine Planets (navagraha) and devotees. Inlays of small rectangular silver pieces. Inscription at the back with the date of samvat 1250 (=1193), on the fourth day of the dark half of the month phalgun.
