A Meissen porcelain coffee pot made for Frederick II.

With relief shell, yellow mosaic and opulent floral decor. Blue crossed swords mark, purple 69 to the base of the pot and inside the lid. With a minor restoration to the spout cover. H 22.5 cm.
1762.

The Prussian order which Frederick II placed with Meissen during the Seven Year's War included a "complete service, of glatt design, with yellow mosaic decor, naturalistic garlands, painted grotesque gilt rim".
