A Meissen porcelain sugar box with rare heraldic decor

Of flat oval section, with the original domed lid. Decorated with a rare coat-of-arms with palm fronds surrounding two lions rampant holding aloft a wreath on an enamel blue field. The lower body decorated with finely painted Chinoiserie scenes on green earth bases. A narrow border to the shoulders with Chinoiserie scenes in puce camaieu in four reserves. Blue crossed swords mark and K.P.M. Minor, barely noticeable chips to the inner rim. H 6.5, W 12.3 cm.
Ca. 1726, the Chinoiseries attributed to Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt.
