A Meissen porcelain tureen with Acis and Galatea from the Swan Service

Oval corpus resting on four scroll feet formed as fish and mascarons. The handles and finial formed as mythological figures. Blue crossed swords mark, impressed 1913, incised model no. 05028. Minor chips. H 45.5 cm.
Formed 1st half 20th C., modelled by Johann Joachim Kaendler and Johann Friedrich Eberlein, 1738.
