A South German carved ivory figure of Saint Mark, circa 1770, with old polychromy. Half-length figure of the Evangelist with the head of the lion as his attribute, mounted on a wooden base, decorated with rocaille.
Some fine cracks in the ivory and with wear. Height 19 cm.
