Record Results for Jewellery Auctions

Every year we achieve exceptional results at our jewellery auctions in Cologne and Monte Carlo. For example a Parisian Art Deco diamond, platinum, and 18k white gold bracelet estimated at € 20,000 – 25,000 left its valuation far behind to achieve € 85,560 (all prices incl. buyer's premium). An example of our signed artisan made jewellery includes a cocktail bangle made from 18k yellow gold with a harlequin opal made by the famous Munich based jeweller Hemmerle, which sold for € 90,520. Natural pearls hold a special fascination and often lead to exceptional results, for example a Belle Epoque ring with a rare natural pearl achieved the incredible sum of € 105,400, and an Oriental pearl sautoir made for an aristocratic wedding multiplied its original estimate of € 12,000 – 15,000 to sell for € 198,000. All of our jewellery auctions in cooperation with Artcurial have achieved exceptional results: A collector was able to secure a ring with a rare “royal blue” Kashmir diamond cabochon for € 932,000, and a ring with a rare droplet shaped natural 2.39ct “fancy vivid blue” diamond achieved the potentially record breaking result of € 1.8 million.
