Lempertz - The international Auction House close to you

Welcome to our auction house!

Last year, Lempertz Auctioneers celebrated its 175th anniversary, and its position as the oldest family-owned art auction house in the world. Thank you for your support! Despite the pandemic, our jubilee was an incredible year, with two world records alone achieved for our customers. The most expensive Old Master painting ever sold in Germany went to an international museum for € 4.3 million – a record price for the artist Georges de La Tour.

Our long-standing focus on the expansion of our online services and presence has paid off: our online sales quota far exceeded that from before the pandemic. Most bidders took advantage of our diverse online offer or were connected to the auction room via telephone. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your flexibility and trust.

But as is always the case: after the auction is before the auction. We can already promise an exciting offer for the upcoming spring auctions and would be happy to appraise your artworks. Please feel free to register for our Newsletter, which you can set up personally for the areas you are interested in, keeping you close to us in these times.

We look forward to receiving your art!
