Lempertz - The international Auction House close to you

Welcome to our auction house!

1845 – 2020: Lempertz celebrates its 175th anniversary!

Due to the corona pandemic, this year’s spring season was also somewhat unusual in our auction house. We are therefore all the more pleased that we were nevertheless able to achieve great auction successes and a total turnover of 21.7 million euro in the first half of our jubilee year. With individual viewings, 3D tours, socially distanced seating in the auction room as well as the possibility to bid on the telephone, in writing and online, we were able to assure our collectors this spring.

It must be noted, however, that three important sales had to be postponed till the autumn: The highly important collection “Abraham and David Roentgen – Furniture for Europe”, the significant Neidhardt private collection featuring paintings, silver, porcelain and furniture, as well as the complete offer of Chinese art.

Here on our website you can find all the information regarding our sales: click through the auction catalogues, browse our after-sale and read the exciting reports from the Lempertz Academy. Do you own objects, antiques, porcelain or jewellery which you would like to sell for the best possible price? Our highly qualified experts are happy to answer your questions. The dates for our art auctions, our Expert Days and the previews can also be found here. We would be pleased to welcome you at one of our many offices or an auction house around the globe. Be our guest at our next auction, bid with us and purchase the work of art of your choice!
