Salome with the Head of Saint John

Oil on canvas. 87 x 80 cm.

Painted after Tizian's identically sized work in the Prado in Madrid. A variation by the artist, in which the head of St. John is replaced with fruit, is kept in the Staatlichen Museen in Berlin.
