A lacquered bronze figure of Budai, also called Milefo, seated at ease with one knee raised, the robes open to reveal his full belly on a four-legged stand, holding a strand of prayer beads in one hand and placing the other hand on his bag, guardian figures at the four corners. Inscription dated to the year Jiaqing 1 (1522). Ming dynasty.
