An interesting Osaka school ivory netsuke of Daikoku and a radish, by Mitsusada. Mid 19th century.

A squat bifurcated radish (futamata daikon) carved on one side with the small figure of a dancing Daikoku beating two jewels from his mallet. One of the leaves of the foliage forming the himotôshi, at the tip of the vegetable fine hair roots. The ivory stained for effect. Signed Mitsusada. 1 Blatt ergänzt und restauriert
