An interesting Edo school ivory netsuke of a group of six objects, by Gyokuhôsai. Mid 19th century.

The group consists of a bag (fukuro) with a landscape with Mount Fuji in anabori, a large forked daikon (futamata daikon), a plant pot with an adonis (fukujusô), a flute (fue), a brush (fude) and weights (fundô). The names of all objects and Mount Fuji start with the syllable “fu” which stands for “good luck". Signed Gyokuhôsai.
