A large ivory netsuke of a minogame on an awabi. Early 19th century

The minogame with a dragon’s head and a long and swirling tail sits on a large awabi, flesh and muscle realistically carved underneath.
The minogame stands for long life and the flesh of the awabi is used for noshi, an emblem of long life.
Height 2.4 cm; length 4.9 cm
