An ivory netsuke of a shishi with a large ball. Early 19th century

Of nearly triangular shape, climbing over a large ball, the head turned to the left with a moveable ball in the open mouth, with a long bushy tail slung to the side, the hair tufts on the body represented by simple circles.
Height 4.3 cm
