Seated upright on a square base, the pottery mold seam visible on two sides. Red and green stains to the base. Signed Ryû….
Height 3.8 cm; length 3.6 cm

Inari clay figurines (tsuchi ningyo) are typical souvenirs of the Fushimi Inari Shrine near Kyoto. They stand for the wish of prosperity and plenty.
