An ivory netsuke of a fox dancer, by Josô. Late 19th century

Standing on one leg, dressed in tight trousers, a jacket buttoned at the front, the Kitsune mask with a moving lower jaw tied to the head, the hands raised, the tail hanging down in a wavy curve. Signed Josô.
Height 5.2 cm
