A Berlin ormolu-mounted walnut secretaire.

Some of the bronze mountings replaced, with iron locks. Formed from a two-doored upper section above a three-drawered serpentine lower section. The sections optically separated by the drop-flap opening concealing three arched compartments (the pillars of which pull out to form removable secret compartments) and three drawers on each side. Restored. H 233, W 134, D 76 cm.
