An engraved ivory travel sun-dial.

The interior lined with paper, the dials of tin. A hinged octagonal case with a sundial to the cover, a lunar calendar to the inside of the lid and a latitude gauge to the inside. Inscribed to the underside "1692 Donner" or "Bonner". The scale to the underside and the sundial's indices lost, the scale in the lid loose, the other slightly bent, cracks to the base. 1.3 x 8.3 x 7.2 cm.
Augsburg or Nuremberg, ca. 1600.
