A boxwood and ivory netsuke of Seiôbo. Early 19th century

A boxwood and ivory netsuke of Seiôbo standing in elegant robes and holding a large peach, the skirt can be slipped off to reveal the naked legs and genitals. Head, hands and legs of ivory. Early 19th century.
Length 8.4 cm

This netsuke subject (compare examples in the British Museum and in the former Hindson collection) must have been quite popular and probably all stem from the same workshop.
