A very large bronze ikebana vase with a compressed body on a domed foot and a large and flaring neck, covered for the most part with shokko hanabishi pattern in fine silver wire. The decorative handles, probably butterflies, attached to hooks at the shoulder now lost, the foot reattached. 19th century.
