A 14k gold and sapphire brooch. Designed as a gold disc bearing a naturalistically modelled scarab beetle set with 6 rose-cut diamonds, 6 Oriental pearls and a large, rose-cut sapphire (ca. 11.5 x 11.8 mm). In the original fitted box. Diameter 3.8 cm. Weight 15.6 g.
