A Sinotibetan heavily gilt bronze figure of a gelugpa lama seated in dhyanasana on two square cushions with his right hand in vitarka mudra and his left hand resting in his lap, wearing a pointed cap with overhanging lappets over a monastic robe. The cushions and the borders of the robe with various finely engraved patterns. Attribute of the left hand missing. Base sealed and incised with a double-vajra. 18th century.
