Decorated throughout with tendrils in relief and set with a Ceylon-cut oval sapphire of ca. 3.15 ct (ca. 8.40 x 7.00 x 5.45 mm, fine colour, origin: Sri Lanka). Stamped fineness 900, maker's mark. Weight 15.36 g.

Gemstone report no. 026054 of the DSEF, Idar Oberstein, dated 22.06.2016 confirms the stone to be a natural sapphire with traces of heat treatment. Provenance: Sri Lanka. Examined in the setting.
