A large turquoise and aubergine-glazed tripod incense burner, raised on three monster mask supports, the body boldly carved in high relief around the sides with two four-clawed dragons and chrysanthemum blossoms and leaves. A pair of upright handles and a carved inscription to the neck: Shizhu Cheng Shan zi zao. The interior unglazed. Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
