A superb Tibetan gilt bronze figure of Buddha Akshobhya, one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, holding in his left hand a vajra, his right hand in bhumisparsa mudra. The tiara and jewellery set with coral and turquoise. The face cold gilt and polychrome. The base plate incised with a double-vajra. 17th century.
