A very large Thai brass-coloured bronze head of a Buddha with highly stylised features with heavy eyelids lowered in meditation and a subtly smiling mouth, the ears with pointed tips, the head covered by snail-like hair curls. The ushnisha and ketumala missing. 14th/15th century or possibly later. Mounted.
Height 64 cm; with base 86 cm
