A bronze goose by Kasei Taizô. 1986

A bronze goose by Kasei Taizô, of stylised shape and with a long neck. Signed Taizô to the body in engraving. Mounted on a black granite base. Tomobako, inscribed on the outside of the lid Noppo no ahiru (large goose), signed Taizô and sealed Kasei Taizô and stamped Nitten hyôgi-in (trustee of Nitten) on the reverse. Together with a certificate of Hakusedô, dating the bronze to Shôwa 61 (1986), 5th month.
Height without stand 29.2 cm

The bronze artist Kasei Taizô of Takaoka in Toyama prefecture was first elected into the Nitten in 1950.
