A gold and sapphire necklace by Max Pollinger of Munich

Of 21k yellow gold (the clasp 18k) and platinum. A custom made piece designed as a woven gold band, the terminals set with rows of calibrated carré-cut sapphire (1.0ct in total), the central clasp set with a large oval Ceylon sapphire cabochon (7.73 ct) surrounded by calibrated carré-cut sapphires (1.5ct in total). The stone weights provided by the goldsmith. Stamped fineness 800, 750, Pl, and maker's mark. Total L 37 cm. Chain: Weight 77.3 g. Clasp 1.6 x 1.8 cm, weight 11.3 g.
